You have the choice of 2 rail, 3 rail and 4 rail designs.
Our pre-morticed post and rail fence
All our posts are pre-morticed to your requirements by our machines at the set spacing depending on rail design.
Our post tops are also cut to the design you choose, typically chamfered.
The species most commonly used for post and rail fences are Cypress Pine, Spotted Gum and Ironbark.
We typically suggest:
Rails to be 150 x 50mm or 200 x 50mm at lengths of 2.1m, 2.4m, 2.7m *
Posts to be 150 x 150mm or 200 x 200mm at lengths of 1.8m, 2.4m or 2.7m *
*Other post and rail sizes available on request, both smaller and larger
